How did you find us, hear about us?

A friend recommended James when I talked to him about Reuben being a good player but his head Would go down and he would struggle in a game.

Why did you decide to work with ProMindset?

Initially to help Reuben with the mental side of his game. He was struggling with body language and frustration when playing, this came across as having a bad attitude.

What did you and your son get from working with ProMindset?

James has given Reuben tools he can use in his football and more importantly in his life outside of football. He is able to express himself very well.

What would you say to anyone thinking about working with ProMindset?

Do it. If your serious about getting the best out of yourself our a team do it. James takes the time to get to know you. He spends hrs looking at game footage prior to meeting and is always well prepared.

What would you say about James Coppinger?

James is the most positive and honest person I have met. He will not tell you what you want to hear but instead he will get to know you and find out what makes you tick. Reuben is a complex kid that is tough to crack but James earned his trust and Reuben opened up. James puts a heck of a lot of Prep into every session.

Reuben was released by Middlesbrough because his body language and frustration affected his game. Reuben was offered a trial at Carlisle but he struggled when he first walked in. He had to meet new coaches and players. His head was down, He struggled in games. This was when as a dad I had to find away to help him. I spoke to a friend as I mentioned who recommended James and said he could 100% help. From the minute we reached out to James it has been nothing short of an amazing experience. James has tailored the session to what Reuben needs. Reuben is still learning but he loves his sessions with James and really looks forward to them. He’s turned it around at Carlisle and has recently earned a scholarship there. James has played a massive part in this achievement and they won’t stop working together either.
